Judging by the title, you can tell I am happy with the news of the signing of Darren McFadden. It shows that the Raiders can and will sign people for what "Big Al" thinks they are worth. At least McFadden was smart enough to sign before the season started. JaMarcus Russell, in my opinion, hurt himself and the Radiers by holding out, until after the season started, before agreeing to a deal. In all fairness to Russell, the holdout could have actually come form his agent and not him. I can never understand how a youngster, who was not allowed to make ANY money while going to school, could snub their nose at $18 to $20 million dollars to become a part of a sports team with a rich history before he ever steps in the locker room to meet his teammates for the first time.

Go Lakers! I know Boston won last night, but that is the only game they will win. The Lakers will win the next 4 games and take the championship.

Hello World
Hi,
From now on I will be known as "Raiderman". No, I will not reveal my true identity. (Not yet, at least.)
Come here for my view point on all things "Raider" (as in "Oakland Raiders"). That will be the last time you see me refer the my favorite sports team by the name "Oakland Raiders". To me they have always been, are and will be the "Raiders". If that offends you, so what.
I will try to keep things light hearted as much as possible. I will have Raider news, views, highlights, family related material and whatever I think the true Raider Fan would like.
You may or may not agree with my opinions, but they are my opinions. Feel free to responed in kind. I only ask that you keep it clean. This is a family friendly place.
During the season, you may even get my predictions on the games. I am thinking of things as I go along.
